What welding projects are you working on? Are you proud of something you built?
How about posting some pics so other welders can get some ideas?

I found a very small estwing ball peen at a thrift store cheap and added half a chisel--works great and it serves dual purposes. Also-I've fount a mehanic's magnetic tray is a great place for the hot tail end of rods to keep them from getting in a tire or starting a grass fire, etc.

OK. I pound a boneless chicken breast flat, put filling in and roll it. What should I call that hammer?

Chuck,
Very nice hammer! I am very curious as to how you "welded" that chisel to the hammer.

Hi Johnathan,
I preheated both pieces and tig welded with 309 stainless rod. I'm sure it's not recommended to weld on hammers but have been using it for many months and it seems to be holding together fine. In several of Jody's videos he jokes about not using the pick side of a chipping hammer, hence the idea for the tool and the post title,
Thanks for asking and the warm welcome,
Chuck
