I wanted to be able to power a water cooler without a separate outlet so I added one to the back of the machine

Good idea but be careful when shutting of your welder if the cooler isnt connected.
There are female versions of that connector you should have used. At least put a cover on hinges that fall down when not plugged in. Just a friendly piece of advice
