I was in need of a new welding trailer. I started with an old livestock trailer.
What welding projects are you working on? Are you proud of something you built?
How about posting some pics so other welders can get some ideas?

The exhaust goes through a flex joint then, a muffler then, the roof with a hinged cap.
The bobcat is very quite with the muffler.

Great job. Well done.
I didn't see any in the pics, might I suggest the addition of a fire extinguisher? just in case...
Cheers.

We are not lawyers nor physicians, but welders do it in all positions!

Ted,
Now that is a nice, clean and professionally organized trailer! I assume you run your own mobile welding business. Very nice.

I bet he has got an extinguisher fitted already.
These projects are always a work in progress. I reckon there are a dozen things he still wants to fit including a fold down bunk and a beer fridge. There's room for them!
Awesome!

Extinguisher is coming but here is a water tank with a pump that I use in brushy areas. The tank is also plumbed to a facet under the fender to wash up after work.
Cool and very functional!
But why remove the front window? It looked like an older welding helmet on the first two pictures

Very impressive and well thought out.
How much work did it take before the trailer stopped smelling of cow poop?

I see why to lose the window, as no one needs to see what's inside, but this is a fun point... Black metal on the inside of that glass could have let you dress it to look like a welding hood.AndersK wrote:Cool and very functional!

I suppose that would also give away what's inside though...
Great work, and a nice setup!

Nice job! I'm in the process of making a flat bed with side skirts and storage for tools, for my truck and outfitting it with a possibly a trail blazer for a power source. And a Miller mig, air compressor, and vise. Lots of work around for a guy who can weld mobile. Great work !
