What welding projects are you working on? Are you proud of something you built?
How about posting some pics so other welders can get some ideas?

Not quite finished yet, but this is my newest project. Not much welding to be bragging on but the wood is what sets it off to me.

I've never really tried anything like this. I had those pieces of maple sitting around the shop for about 12 years now and finally put them to use  . I bought the tubing at the flea market for about four bucks so I don't have too much in it. I'm looking to get some more wood like that. I'd like to try something like this again.

I've built a few wood/metal tables and get nothing
but compliments from those who see them. its
the material combo more than the fab that the average joe
appreciates.
nice work.

Yeah it's tiger maple. I worked in a frame shop when I was younger and I saw that wood and got it. It's a shame it took me so long to use it :D I'd rather work with the metal than the wood. I make to many mistakes to make a career out of woodworking. At least I can make the metal longer if I cut it too short

I am a carpenter by trade and you CAN make wood longer. I used to do alot of primed base trim and every now and then, some asshole would cut the trim on the wrong side of the line and I would have to get out the "trim stretcher".....white painters caulk
