What welding projects are you working on? Are you proud of something you built?
How about posting some pics so other welders can get some ideas?

Gated Works. 820mm x 1000mm outdoor gate. Mitered 50mm square x 3.2mm wall 6061-T6 HSS. 7ea 20mm round intermediate supports are coated Aluminum and interference fit into the HSS members.

Burn-in via Miller Dynasty 200DX and CK Worldwide 18-series torch with 1/8" GREEN Tungsten (micro-ball) and 3/32" 4943 filler. 165A, 110Hz with 68/32 balance and 75Ar/He25 shielding. Normally, we use BLUE Tungsten for Ally work but decided to rock the GREEN Tungsten with spherical ends. Old school. All joint edges were profiled at 45deg to 2/3 the depth of the HSS thickness with a Dynabrade (no. 52325) air powered grinder and carbide cutter. CJP (complete joint penetration) to facilitate max fusion and filler wetout. All welds sanded flush with scotch-brited Rolocs, less the interior fillets.

Our client is spraying the assembly with a primer/paint to complement the look of his lake house. Plus, client will be drilling water escape hole prior to surface finish to mitigate internal corrosion.

Purpose, then passion. Practitionership. Obsession and hard work. That's the discipline.

The gate looks great! But the welder gods may strike you dead for putting Lincoln and Miller stickers on the same cup. If you survive I'm sure I'll enjoy seeing more of your work in the future.
I have more questions than answers
