Some Security Doors

So the last couple of weeks in the shop were filled with some cookie cutter stuff, nothing too exciting. We did do these pretty cool security doors though. We usually put perforated sheet (24 ga. steel screen) on our doors for bug proofing but these folks weren't concerned with that. They have pretty amazing views of the Sandia Mountain and wanted more visibility. Double sided deadbolts provide the security.

Very nice, what are you using to make the finish?

We use Muriatic Acid to etch & then H2O2 to color. We can get some very cool coloring depending on the ambient humidity, and rain storms.

Real nice look to them. Not your typical "penitentairy" type gates.

We did 5 of these doors last week with a matching 26' long automatic sliding gate.

Beautiful work! Although it looks like a prison door.
