Welding Parts the Size of your Finger Nail

Here's a project I machined and welded. I started with a photo arm having 1/4-20 threads and attached it to the indicator with a part I machined. The other end of the photo arm to an indicator base that had a 8mm thread. So I decided to make a fine adjust mechanism to attach the photo arm to, avoiding using the 8mm thread. The spring came out of a pant hanger clip. At the pivot points you can see how small the welded parts are. This is why I love TIG!!!
