Just finished refurbishing an old, rusty, 43" slip roller. Bought it at an Estate Sale (50 bucks) where it had been stored outside for over a year. Also, built a stand for it so it can be wheeled around the shop. Image

You do nice work! That looks beautiful. Had any occasion to run some test pieces through it yet?

I'm guessing chucked it up in a lathe?

Thanks all for the kind words!
First photo, 24hours in Evapo-rust (doing it this way it only took a 1/3 of a gallon) , then on to the lathe (2nd photo) where it got filed. emery clothed, then Scotch -brite, 3rd photo, the three rollers. first one, before, second just out of the Evapo-rust, the third finished.

Looks great, I'll give you $100

I recently bought the Evapo-Rust but haven't used it yet, also got their Rust Block, supposed to prevent rust for 1 year

Thanks!
Here in DRY Colorado, as long as it's inside we do not have to worry about rust.

That is wonderful workmanship in the re-hab of the tool. My wife "borrows" a lot of my tools and I can usually regroup them from around the pool area --- about 3 months after the heavy rains.
Thought I saw some kind of gizmo on facebook being advertised that will remove oxidation from metalic surfaces. It looked like a hair dryer and I didn't see any actual footage of it working - only still picture in the ad.
