Plasma cut butterflies and gate

Someone asked (a long time ago) for people to post other hand-cut plasma projects...

Butterflies: I made a set of 3 of these in differing sizes to jazz up the very boring back of my mum's shed.

Gate: Made this as an entry into our permaculture food forest. This was my very first project so don't look too closely at the welds! :D

Like it!!

Do you use something to accelerate the rusting process? If so I'd like to know the procedure.

Hi LtBadd,
I brushed on some HCL because I'm impatient, but they've weathered further very nicely on their own.
The butterflies have a bit of colouring because they were cut from 40gallon drums which happened to be cream coloured. I deliberately ground them down gently to expose 90% of the metal and left some patches for detail/interest. Pretty happy with how they turned out.
