I have antique tractors that I pull and play with. But don't have any way to haul them. So i bought an international truck. Needs a deck.here's my progress.

Does it have enought clearance for the tire when it is fully pushed up? In case the truck is loaded and hits some bump on a road...

Looks great! We did a Chevy C65 several years ago steel frame, 2-1/4" oak deck. Mine is rack body dump. I kinda wish we had gone with steel deck. We cut the trees, trucked with the same truck, and had enough oak milled for two floors. Lost my lumber storage when Hurricane Irene damaged the building, so now 7 years in I need new wood. I might better have sprung for steel in the first place.
As a kid I had an IH dealer near. They used an International with dump, and a deck extension. It had mounted under the deck a hydraulic cylinder with two pulleys it had about 13 feet of stroke with compound telescopic cylinder. It gave it 26' of winch cable travel. As I recall it must have dumped at about a four-twelve pitch. A little too steep for real comfort driving a Farmall on so you would winch it on. The thing worked great! When I turned 16 they often let me deliver or pick up. I thought I was a big deal!

Thanks. I used a section of frame off an early 70s late 60s ford f600. For the beaver tail. Cut out the section I needed and welded it back tougher. Was going to scrap it but looks to cool to get rid of. I will get a pic.

The blue truck is the f600. I took a section of frame out of.

That's very cool! Looks like you've got room for a nice Farmall M also. We live near a former International dealer, We have Internationals. Our friends are former John Deere dealers, (one generation removed), they have John Deeres. We have a horsepower advantage, they have a torque advantage. We have a friendly rivalry at antique tractor pulls.

Probably no red on this truck for a while. My brother in law is a farmall guy. I actually store his f20. Needs to be redone. When the deck is done it will easily fight two tractors.
