What welding projects are you working on? Are you proud of something you built?
How about posting some pics so other welders can get some ideas?

I'll have less than $20 in it when I'm done.
Pics later.

This table started out as the fabbed together bunch of channel.
And this 5'x10' sheet of 3/8 steel.

Nice bit of re-cycling - it must be nice living where you are - seems like there's plenty of old steel & bits laying around for cheap if you have the ability to use them - no such luck here - last decent scrapyard got shut down a few years back - nothing around now - if I need metal it all has to be bought new which can make side projects real expensive - not sure I'd like how long your winters are though.

For some reason I like it up here.
Been here almost 15yrs.
Lots of auctions, tool loaded yard sales, and deals.
Winters are easily overcome, get a large warm shop.

The bits visible in your photos looks like a nice place to be - in my ignorance the only things I know about your state are from watching Ice Road Truckers / Bering sea gold / Ax Men / Deadliest Catch - these are some of my favorite TV programs - naturally we don't get them here - but that's what piracy is for right ? !!

I am going to have to build me a good table. The only tables I have are a cheap 3' x 2' table from northern tool, very cheap piece of junk now, and a piece of scrap that is about 14"x 4'. I need to start one of these projects. Very nice table.
It's always best to build your own, especially when it comes to hitches!!!

Gentleman....
Finally got to putting a bottom shelf in.
Got some 17" wide sheets of 3/4' plywood at the dump.
Enjoy the pics, and yes, I'm loving this table!!!!

Gotta get my shop all organized, been a mess for a while....
I'm thinking of stacking all my 50lb boxes on this shelf, and free up my other table.
