I did the exact same project back in school. Made mine from round stock, bent the triangle, left the top long and bent it out. Great little project, and handy as heck. Beats leaning against the truck :D

Thanx for the reply Sling. I made mine from scrap angle iron pieces. Turned out pretty good.
