Has anyone ever experimented with black carbon steel bends and tees with a stainless filler rod such as 309?

I don't see why it would be a problem, but why not just use regular steel filler wire? Or just use Sch10/40 Stainless pipe?

Looking for advice on Turbo manifolds.
