I have yet to find a sane price on a vice anywhere. You got lucky, thats a nice one!

Picked mine up at a second hand machinery store - huge old Brit made thing.

Turned out they were selling off all the tech shop stuff from a school that was shutting its classes down.

$40.

I'll put some parts on eBay. Other bits are a poorly designed embarrassment

Motox I put a receiver in my table also. I am finding it real handy for all sorts of things that can be mounted in it.Not the best pic but you can see my saw holder in it.

Motox I can figure out a receiver on my table but I can't figure out the picture thing go figure. It is getting harder and harder to find old vises and tools like your vise. the new stuff has no soul like the old stuff.

God watches over children and drunks...

I was stopped on US 71 (Now I 49, I suppose?) by the Missouri Highway Patrol, about 20 miles south of Harrisonville. My wife and I had a quarter-ounce of good weed, and I had been drinking heavily. My wife asked what to do with the weed, I told her to put it in her drawers, as they would have to arrest her to search her, and they had no reason to arrest her.

The officer asked for my license, and asked why I was weaving like that. I told him, until I saw HIS lights, I thought I had the road to myself, so my wife snuggled up, and we were playing a li'l "grabass" in the big bench seat of the old Cherokee I was driving. He asked if I'd been drinking. I looked him in the eye and told him I'd drank Jack and Coke with my brother all afternoon (this was almost midnight), but I'd switched to coffee after the Royals game. He asked me to get out and do the "stupid human tricks", told me to have a safe drive, a good evening, and to pay more attention to the road.

When I got back in the truck, my wife was shaking, and asked, "What do we do now?" I said, "We drive home. What did you expect?" She couldn't believe it, because she knew I'd been drinking Jack for ten hours.

How's that for a share?

Okay, I think this thread has been hi-jacked.

Sorry about that...

And I have more stories, several are better, but at midnight it ends until Easter...

Motox I am using windows. I think it has something to do with my camera on my phone. It seems that when ever I use the phone side ways and down load to my pc it just goes sideways even if I rotated it. No biggy I can get a new phone on my plan just need some time to do it. I made some more adapters for my table receiver. I need a surface to tac up v butts. I'll post when finished.

With Windows you can >right click< on the pic and choose from the menu "rotate clockwise," or "rotate counter clockwise"
