Head ache rack

I have a idea for a head ache rack, but no idea what metal to use. I was wondering if it would be better to use stainless or a mild steel. Any input would be awesome and greatly appreciated.

Coupla Bandsaws,Grinders,surface grinder,tool/cutter grinder
