I also had the opportunity to view products from Fit Up Gear (http://www.fitupgear.com/fug.html). For what we do with large plates, their products will be a welcome addition to the shop. I ordered the flat Key Plate, Blank Nuts and Bull Pins. We are currently working on a project with plate ranging 3/4" to 4" and using these tools on some of the plate will be a huge help and time saver. I would also like to get the Hinged Key Plate in the future. What was really interesting was the Mag Pry. Look at the time it saves you when plates need aligned. No nuts to weld on and cut off.

I am thankful to be able to talk to and watch a few of the Skills USA competitors and instructors. I believe this is a great program for anyone eligible to compete in. There are many life lessons to be learned competing at this level. Jody did a great job covering Skills USA in his videos so I really can't add much more, just a few more pictures.

For anyone interested in what Skills USA is or how they can help go to http://skillsusa.org/

Thanks SuperiorWelding for posting love the CK stuff they have the coolest TIG toys. See they had the 24 torch. Gas lens on display. I can't wait to get a few and try them out. Trailing shields look pretty nice will have to look into them. Looks like CK will get more money out of me next year
why use standard nozzles after gas lens where invented. Kinda of like starting fires by rubbing sticks together.
