Me and two others. I get the title of "Safety Director" so you can imagine the help I get.

Swap the 'N' and 'M' key caps on a computer keyboard. It's a simple harmless prank.

There's my contribution lol 3/8 - 3/16 lap weld horizontal 24" long. 1/8" ER70S2. No pulse, 2014 Syncrowave set at 250, actual welding current around 200 after getting started.

I got a little froggy farther away from me and undercut the top plate a little because my knee got wedged under the plate and I just kept welding away!

After playing around at the beginning with other methods, (this plate will be under the bed on a Cummins project I'm working on at the other shop I work at) I stepped out until the puddle almost disappeared, and then added filler and stepped back to maintain consistent spacing and to maintain the tip edge as much as possible.

Also, the HAZ farther away from the weld is from the plates welded to box the frame in from the plate to the bottom flange. Mine is quite small comparatively. And it is also much smaller than on the other side that my buddy welded ;)

Looks very nice - but you weren't supposed to weld the scraps to the table, weld them to each other next time :D

Just a couple welders and a couple of big hammers and torches.

Matt,
Well, we could be doing worse things like drugs and fighting. It is rather sad we are up to 5 pages of useless nonsense. Oh well, could be worse. :)

Well, I thought I would give this a go. I loaded up a cart with a few of my 2" plate sub-assemblies and drug the Fronius into my office. I had to run a 50' extension cord for the machine through the hall but was able to plug my grinder in the office outlets. Everything was going fine until everyone noticed how loud and close the grinding and welding was. The office Manager came down the hall and went through the roof! He started rambling something about how the grinding dust and smoke filling the offices, my desk was not designed for 6700# and how that welding in my office was a fire hazard. I just looked at him and said "better tell the Safety Director"  ;)
