I suppose paint is planned for the brackets. Too bad that will hide all this quality work.
This kind of work needs to showcased.

Want another?ldbtx wrote:Neat project. I had a '56 & a '57 CJ-5 years back and always wanted to convert one to diesel. Sold 'em both before a decent engine came along. But the vehicle that I'll always regret not having kept until the right engine (and the right amount of money) showed up, was a 1949 Dodge 1T Power Wagon. That one was a natural for a diesel conversion, but I stupidly let it go too. Guy offered me 5 times what I'd paid for it, and I sold it. Maybe I'll find one when I retire and have a project to keep me busy.dzljon wrote:It's going in a 2000 tj sport
Keep the pics coming on the TJ project. I like it.

I have a 56 C4 I'll never sell. Somebody was trying to talk me into a 47 WDX nice truck. I don't need another project. By my way of thinking 35" tires, 5.89 differential, and 1to1 transmission don't lend themselves to an engine suffering at 3000 RPM.
I'd favor a nice Jeep 4.0.
