I just got a pair of Iso Tunes Pro ear plugs and really like them. They are bluetooth enabled earplugs that are OSHA compliant and ANSI certified 27db NRR (noise reduction rating). 12 hour run time on one charge. phone functionality.
With a NRR of 27dB, they can be used for moderate hearing protection in the shop while still listening to music. I find wearing muffs or plugs are a hassle. I either can't hear the music if I have protection on OR I forget to put them back on (or too lazy to put them on) for a quick blip with the grinder. The Iso Tunes let me listen to music and still maintain my hearing protection. I find them very comfortable. They are small enough that you can supplement them with muffs for really noisy work.
