I was wondering if anyone knows of a place I could buy some scrap Inconel X750 or small quantities of it. Rene 41 is another option.
why use standard nozzles after gas lens where invented. Kinda of like starting fires by rubbing sticks together.
I would say give Steve Meredith at North American Alloys a call or email. He is very helpful. His company buys sells surplus Titanium mostly, but they also buy nickel based alloys. I'm not sure why they don't list it for sale in their inventory, but their website says they do buy it. Now granted, they only sell by $1000-minimums, perhaps he can point you in the right direction.
