Tig brazing some vise grips

Anybody ever braze the clamping point on a pair of vise grips to make a soft clamp or soft jaws. I plan on clamping some stainless that I don't want to scratch.
A student now but really want to weld everyday. Want to learn everything about everything. Want to become a knower of all and master of none.

Try using a silicon bronze rod. just watched a video that Jody posted.
