At work, retired now, I've used 7018, a lot, 7024,6013, 6011 and 6010 but never 7014. I've ordered a Hugong Wave 200 ACDC TIG/stick. A local tool store chain is bringing them in under their own brand, Magnum. What can you tell me about 7014 ? History, use and how to. It looks kinda handy. THX

Easiest rod I've ever run. I know Jody did a video about electrodes and it literally ran itself.
A student now but really want to weld everyday. Want to learn everything about everything. Want to become a knower of all and master of none.

Easy to use. Another farmer rod. Doesn’t require the storage needs of 7018 because it’s not low hy. Very easy re strikes. I use it for when the kids want to stick weld.
It’s not a certified rod for any type of
code work.

Thanks. I 'll pick up a box of 3/32. Nothing I'll be doing is going to be code work. For that matter, ever was. It'll save hooking up the MIG for flux-core. It's for a hobby home shop.
