Does anyone out there know anything about the history of Trindl welding machines? When were they made, etc ? I have three of them, including a 300 amp model, but know little else about them. Very little on the internet. I have restored some vintage machines.

Looks like the company Trindl Products was located in chicago illinois and has been making machines at least since the early to mid 40's. Some googling throws up (scanned) ads until the late 60's after which it seems to no longer show up.

Not sure if they went bust or got bought out by some other company around that time.

If they were bought then some documentation may still be available from the current owners/company, but if they went bust then a lot may be lost.

Bye, Arno.
