Hi Guys &Gals,
First I would like to say that I have no association with this company so this is not a biased opinion! I was looking at buying a tig pedal for my “Air liquide tig welder” and they wanted almost $600.00 (Canadian) plus taxes! So after looking around on the net for a bit I found this amazing website, and the positive comments from “sschefer” (also see this link http://www.everlastgenerators.com/forum ... ight=pedal). Following this I emailed Jim at http://www.ssccontrols.com. Jim was just amazing! I send him the PDF manual for my welder and in a very short time Jim emailed me back with a solution at a fraction of the price that Air Liquide quoted me - even if you factor the duty and shipping (so much for free trade - I have to thank the Canadian government for this one). Next, I called Jim to order this tig pedal, and it took only a few minutes on the phone to conclude that this man is an expert in this field. About one week later the tig pedal arrived well packaged. The first thing I did after unpacking it was to plug this thing in and try it, and all I can say is WOW - it is silky smooth, very well built and just heavy enough to stay where you put it. This thing is so accurate that I can easily adjust the amperage by 1 or 2 amps. The construction is all metal with a beautiful black finish on it; the pedal also as a nice rubber pad on top to keep your foot from slipping; a heavy gauge wire and a metal plug to connect to the welder (nothing cheap here). Like I said the quality is second to none. The only thing better than the tig pedal is the customer service that I received. It is by far some of the best I have personally experienced. I would like to thank Jim at http://www.ssccontrols.com. Keep doing what you do!! I hope other readers find this helpful. Moe.
