Been using these for several months now. 2% lanthanated. 1/16" to 5/32" diameters. AC and DC. 20A to 350A.

They perform exactly on par with the big name brands and industrial suppliers, but at less than half the price. I think $14 a pack if you buy multiple quantities.

If you're still paying $30+ for a pack of 3/32" sticks, you're a sucker :)

Edit: And they are a USA company. Sticks may be made overseas, though. I dunno...

Yeap, I've bought from them in the past, and it works great. I need some 5/32" from them though. Can't seem to find them though.

I think they only sell the 5/32 in the pre-ground sticks. Kind of odd. Stupid expensive having to buy them like that. I have a bunch. Shoot me your address and I'll send you a couple.

Why is that? Are those 5/32 typically used in automated equipment?

I've been buying from MTS for a couple of years and have had zero issues with them. I've bought from some of the bigger names and didn't see any difference. They are made in China, along with almost all of the other tungstens out there. I know some are still made in Austria, and maybe Germany, but those are quite a bit more expensive. I guess if I was a lot better, and welding nuclear reactor parts, I might worry about a better quality tungsten :D

It's cool, I have some 5/32" 2%Ce and Rare Earth 10-packs. More than I will ever need in my life.
