mig and flux core tips and techniques, equipment, filler metal
Don't even need this right at the moment but still looking for a 250ish amp mig welder that is spool gun ready. I almost snagged a Lincoln SP250 local but someone beat me to it. Recently, a Matco 260D popped up local. This one is kinda interesting. It comes with a spool gun. It actually has a designated connection on the front for the spool gun which is kind of cool as you can keep both guns attached and just swap the shielding gas. Seller says everything works perfectly. I believe this is the same machine as a MAC MG260D. I've been searching on line for specifications on this and haven't found much other then the duty cycle at 250 amps which appears to be 30%, Claims to be able to weld 1/2" steel and 7/16 aluminum. Anyone familiar with this welder? He wants $800 for it.
