Hi I'm new member on here, my names nick.
I have an old 86 Lincoln idealarc tig 300/300 that I picked up about a year ago from the original owner. The thing welds great, I love it. Only problem is I have to have to gas directly from the regulator on the bottle to the tig torch. Luckily I have a flex head torch with a gas valve on it so I can manually turn the gas on/off.

Both the gas and water Solenoids on the machine are in the closed position and when I hit the foot pedal neither one does anything. It seems like neither is getting any juice. The machine sat awhile and it is possible they could have gotten stuck but I doubt both would have gotten stuck at the same time.

I was thinking it could be the post control timer board that's not working?

Any suggestions on what to do to further diagnose my issue?
And anyone know where I can get parts for this machine?

Thanks,
Nick

Welcome, Nick,

I'll move this to the TIG forum, where people will see it...

The "suggestions, etc." forum is for people to suggest ideas to the moderators and admins about the forum.
