What welding projects are you working on? Are you proud of something you built?
How about posting some pics so other welders can get some ideas?

I needed a cart I can easily take around the building at work, and to be honest I am not a fan of the carts available and they are pricey for what they are.
I have a Maxstar 150sth that is in the xbox case which I still want so I can easily go where ever is needed quickly. I take a lot of the same tools and items every time I go so I decided to build a cabinet to house those things (gas lens and torch accessories/parts, deep throated clamps, Metabo with cut off wheels and flap wheels, extension cord, my kick ass new wireless foot pedal, etc) I'm going to build another shelf above where I will sit the welder, I'm thinking of making this sturdy enough where I can bolt small vise, or maybe some stronghand tools...since I cant always weld in the shop on the Acorn table. I'll add some more pics as it comes together.

And yes it is all stainless steel, being in the Food Industry nearly everything we build is from stainless so I have access to a lot of stock and scrap.

Nice, look forward to seeing more of your work!

I don't thing there can ever be "too many" welding cart or table threads. Everybody seems to have some sort of unique need or idea... They help me include the things I just forget to think about!

Every guy in my neighborhood that works at the steel mill has a stainless mailbox. Looking at the rod holder, what does Rick do for a living, I wonder? ;)

Nice cart. :)

Can you tell I work in food processing;)

That's just a tri clover clamp and a block off plate (4322k221 from mcmaster car 304l stainless about $5.00)at the top of my rod holder. I've got some other goodies to add but right now just working on it while I have free time. The stainless chain I just pulled from a machine that was all stretched...decided I really likes that idea I saw in another thread on here. Carried over the chain to the rod holder just to keep that theme, everything else is scra stainless I have laying around and the wheels were from a Kennedy tool box that I didn't use.

I usually don't build on the fly but I am doing that with this build. I started to build a cabinet for the bottom but the further I got with it the more In was unsure about it. I'm making a slick holder for my wide clamps, metabo and a few other tools.

Rick,
Yet another idea I might just "steal". I also noticed the homogeneous weld near the top, looking good!

Very nice! Jonathan I have a welding cart you can have. I got it for $25 at Tractor supply on sale. Free to you
It's always best to build your own, especially when it comes to hitches!!!

You would feel funny if I took you up on that offer and showed up at your door
I am thinking a SS cart would be cool, have to add that to my list.
