Recently retired at 66, now pursuing the interests I should have made a career of!
Grew up around farms, welding and machining for play & pay... if it held it was good.
Just hobby pursuits now, currently with a Diversion 180 TIG, an old Miller 130 mig and my original love, gas welding with a Smith AW1A.
Hope to contribute at least a fraction of what I'll learn here!

Welcome, Greybeard, even though I think I've said so elsewhere.

Gas welding is almost a lost art, and I love to do it when I can.

Have you gas-welded aluminum? It's a skill some of our mothers and grandmothers did in WWII...
