What welding projects are you working on? Are you proud of something you built?
How about posting some pics so other welders can get some ideas?

Yesterday, I made 3 - third hand tools. I have not had much experience welding Aluminum, so I watched some of Jody's videos and got in some 'seat time' today. One of the third hands was made using 'Allen' wrenches. Kind of goofy but it's different. I call him "Allen". So today I had "Allen" help me hold down some Aluminum and I practiced. I had fun yesterday and today. ;)

Very nice!! I just received some goodies for my third hands, that I have wanted to make for a LONG time. Maybe I will finally get to make them!

That sticker there, wonder where you got it from ;)

@ Mikechallgren

Great job. Really like the idea of using Allen keys - very nifty.
Thanks for sharing

Mikechallgren,

Looks like you're making props for a stop-motion animation of "The War of the Worlds."

Seriously, nice work, and great ingenuity.

Thanks for all of your kind comments, I've got a couple more ideas for this 'hold down' thing. I'll make them then share them.
