Neat project. I had a '56 & a '57 CJ-5 years back and always wanted to convert one to diesel. Sold 'em both before a decent engine came along. But the vehicle that I'll always regret not having kept until the right engine (and the right amount of money) showed up, was a 1949 Dodge 1T Power Wagon. That one was a natural for a diesel conversion, but I stupidly let it go too. Guy offered me 5 times what I'd paid for it, and I sold it. Maybe I'll find one when I retire and have a project to keep me busy.

Our primary client has gone to the Haldex ride-height controllers for their entire fleet. It seems to recover lost volume more quickly than the Meritor system, for faster response.
