Harbor Freight welding rods????????!
I was about to tackle a fence repair in my back yard so I decided to freshen up a bit. I am using Harbor Frieght rods and can't seem to dial in my welding. I am using 6011 and 7018 1/16 and 1/8 rod on my practice piece also 1/8 where I am trying to run beads. My bead profile seems kinda low or if stay to long I tend to burn through. Not cleaning the slag makes it difficult to stack the beads and Cleaning the slag is very difficult.
Suggestions????????

God gave man 2 heads and only enough blood to run 1 at a time. Who said God didn't have a sense of humour.....
